Why Is the Clock Out Showing Up On a Different Line?
If the Time Record for the clock in was edited in the
Control Center before the clock out time syncs, the clock out appears on a
different line.
What
causes an edit? Anything
done to Time Records by a user in the Control Center. Even if they click on a Time
Record and then select [Edit] and [Save] without editing anything, the system records
it as edited and severs the link between the device and the Time Record in the Control
Center.
How to
prevent it? Don’t edit Time
Records in the Control Center until you can confirm that everyone’s time has
synced.
How to fix it? When
this happens, edit the Time Record to either place the clock in time with the clock
out time or the clock out time with the clock in time. Then, delete the record
that isn’t paired up. You can also select both records then select [Edit] and [Save]
to merge them together.
