Clocking In and Out for Your Crew in the Mobile App

CLOCKING IN AND OUT FOR YOUR CREW IN THE MOBILE APP

The WorkMax mobile app allows supervisors and crew leads to clock in and out for multiple employees at once. This article reviews how to clock in crew members, adjust their jobs or tasks and clock them out.

1.   Open the WorkMax mobile app and pin in to the app.


2.   From the Time menu, select [Clock In].

a      Employee

b      Location

c      Task

d     Note – Optional

      

3.   Tap the Employee field and select the employees to clock in:

      Note: Your own name populates in the Employee field by default.

a     Tap the checkbox before the name of each employee you want to select. You can scroll or use the search bar to find employee names.

4.   Tap the Location field and select the location from where the selected employees are clocking in:

      You can scroll or use the search bar to find location/job names.

b        Tap [Close] in the upper-left corner of the screen.

5.   Tap the Task field and select the task/cost code that the selected employees are working on:

a     Tap the appropriate task/cost code name. You can scroll or use the search bar to find task/cost code names.

b     Tap [Close] in the upper-left corner of the screen.

6.   If applicable, tap the Asset field and select the asset for the selected task:

a      Tap the appropriate asset/equipment name. You can scroll or use the search bar to find asset/equipment names.

b     Tap [Close] in the upper-left corner of the screen.

a      In the text field, enter your note.

b      Tap [Save] in the upper-left corner of the screen.

            

8.   Tap [Confirm] to complete the clock-in.

When the Time Record is confirmed, A green Clocked In screen appears.

The Home screen updates to show that you are now clocked in and the amount of time that has elapsed.


 

To verify who you’ve clocked in:

1.   Open the WorkMax mobile app and pin in to the app.

2.   From the Time menu, select Time Review.

3.   Review the list of employees currently on the clock.

4.   Return to the PIN screen when finished.


 

CLOCKING CREW MEMBERS IN TO DIFFERENT JOBS OR TASKS

Perform the following steps when crew members move to different work areas or tasks during the day:

1.   Open the WorkMax mobile app and pin in to the app.


 2.   From the Time menu, select [Clock In].


 3.   In the Employees field, select only the employees whose job/task is changing.

      Note: Employees can be assigned to different jobs and tasks as needed.

5.   Tap [Confirm].

The app automatically clocks them out of their previous assignment and starts a new record.


CLOCKING CREW MEMBERS OUT (END OF DAY OR LUNCH)

1.   Open the WorkMax mobile app and pin in to the app.

2.   From the Time menu, select [Clock Out].

3.   Tap the Employee field and select the employees to clock out.

a        Tap the checkbox before the name of each employee you want to select. You can scroll or use the search bar to find employee names.

4.   Tap [Confirm] to finish the clock-out.

When the Clock Out is confirmed, a red Clocked Out screen appears.
