Pay Codes 

Steps to set up Pay Codes

  1. Go to the Settings dropdown and select “Modules.” 

  2. Go to the Time dropdown and select “Pay Codes.” 

  3. To create a new pay code, select the [New] button and complete the following fields: 
    1. Pay Code Name – Enter the name of the pay code. 
      Note: Multiple pay codes can be applied to employees, jobs, unions, and companies through pay groups.
    2. Status – Select “Active” or “Inactive” for the pay code’s current status in the system.
    3. Enter pay codes for up to three different shifts.
      Note: The actual shift hours are set under the “Shift Rules” tab in the Time dropdown.
    4. Misc Codes – Enter pay codes for holiday, sick, and vacation pay. 

  4. Select the [Save] button to create the pay code.
