To create a new Usage entry simply select New which will open a asset usage form at the bottom of the page.
Fill out the asset usage form.
1. Choose the Equipment you want to track from the Asset drop down.
2. Select the Location the Equipment is going to.
3. Select the Start Date the equipment will be at the Location.
4. Select the Start time the equipment will be on the job site. Make sure the time zone is correct.
5. Select the projected End Date. This will be the date that you expect to be done with the equipment.
6. Select the expected Stop time for the use of the machine. Make sure the time zone is correct.
7. Select the Employee that will be using the machine. This will be assigning the Equipment to that Employee.
8. Select the Task that the employee will be doing, while using the equipment.
9. By entering the Actual Hours Used, you can monitor exactly how many hours the machine was actually in use on the designated site.
10. The Reading tracks the hours on the machine. This will track exactly how many hours are on the Equipment when it left the previous Location.
11. Add the Rate Code and Rate.
12. Select Save.
